Built from nothing.

Know, desire, and go after what you want.

Founder & Chairman of American Power & Gas, Cummins Worldwide, and over 20 other companies.

The personal record of Tom Cummins.

The story, the companies, and the wisdom he’s written down along the way.

The story · Chapter one · The Floor

He started below zero.

His own arithmetic for it: “like minus 30.” He came out of a Las Vegas childhood barely able to read, built an Inc. 500 company, and lost it all. What he rebuilt first wasn’t the fortune. It was a written financial plan, every week, never missed since.

The companies

The companies are the proof.

More than $3 billion in sales so far across his companies.

Founder, co-founder, partner, or board member: energy on two continents, financial services, hospitality, and more.
